The Weeki Wachee Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Brandon Academy Scorpions to 49 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tampa Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Weeki Wachee will meet a Terrapins team coming off a 69-21 non-league win over Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Terrapins record now stands at 5-0.
The Scorpions (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic was outscored by Tampa Prep (Tampa, FL), 69-21, in a non-league contest.
