Illinois High School Basketball - Hampshire can't hold off Buffalo Grove

The Buffalo Grove Bison basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs to 52 in the Bison non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bison now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schaumburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Buffalo Grove will battle a Saxons team coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 4-6.
The Whip-Purs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Saint Viator nudged Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
