Tennessee High School Basketball - Columbia Central tipped by Lawrence County

The Lawrence County Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Columbia Central Lions to 73 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phillips for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Lawrence County will meet a Bears team coming off a 56-42 league win over Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Bears record now stands at 8-2.

The Lions (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Battle Ground Academy nudged Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN), 73-60, in a non-league contest.
