Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) and the host Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), saw Copper Canyon's basketball squad wallop Goldwater by a tally of 62-28.

With the victory, Copper Canyon improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Independence (Glendale, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 5A Central Valley challenge on Monday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Valley Christian Academy Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Goldwater will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
