Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX), 63-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gonzales upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Apaches travel to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX) to play the Shorthorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Shorthorns go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Schulenburg won 63-45 in their recent league bout against Ganado (Ganado, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Natalia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 68-28 league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX).
