The Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) basketball crushed the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 63-27 in Monday's league test.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The PRIDE go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Blackstone Valley Prep was trounced by Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI), 65-59, in a league test.
The Blue Wave now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Johnston for a Division 2 test on Wednesday, December 21. Hope will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 92-73 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
