Texas High School Basketball - Stacey topped by KIPP University Prep

The KIPP University Prep basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Stacey Eagles to 42 in the non-league victory on Monday.

The now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooks Academy of Science & Engineering for a TCSAAL contest on Wednesday, January 4. KIPP University Prep will battle a team coming off a 63-30 non-league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX). The record now stands at 6-11.

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX). The Trojans come into the 2A Region IV District 30 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Charlotte prevailed over Runge (Runge, TX), 62-46, in a non-league contest.
