Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) and the host Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS), saw Lake's basketball squad knock off Pisgah by a count of 49-36.

With the victory, Lake upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Leake Central (Carthage, MS) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Leake Central lost 55-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS)

Next up, the Dragons play the East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Pisgah will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
