The Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) basketball knocked off the visiting Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV), 61-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lancers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, St. Paul notched a victory over Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ), 60-51, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Buckeye for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Spring Valley will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-5.
