The Nooksack Valley Pioneers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Lummi Blackhawks to 35 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pioneers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, December 20. Nooksack Valley will battle a Lions team coming off a 61-40 non-league win over Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.

The Blackhawks (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Shoreline Christian (Seattle, WA). The Chargers enter the 1B Northwest contest with a 2-2 record.
