Northland Lutheran Wildcats (Mosinee, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rosholt Hornets (Rosholt, WI), 71-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northland Lutheran upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Nekoosa (Nekoosa, WI) to play the Papermakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Papermakers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Nekoosa lost 50-45 in their recent league bout against Westfield Area (Westfield, WI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Bowler Panthers (Bowler, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Rosholt will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 67-46 non-league loss to Gillett (Gillett, WI).
