The Winthrop Ramblers routed the visiting Oak Hill Raiders basketball team by a final score of 80-55 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Ramblers face the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a C South battle, on Wednesday, December 28. Winthrop will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Cobras come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 73-61 league win over Madison (Madison, ME).
The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Dirigo trounced Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME), 67-51, in a league battle.
