In their next game, the Wildcats face the Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 game, on Wednesday, December 21. Wilson will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Bison enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 67-46 league win over Adamson (Dallas, TX).

With the defeat, Plano West moves to 10-7 on the year. The Wolves travel to Allen (Allen, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 13-5. Allen won 88-50 in their recent league test against Boyd (McKinney, TX)
