With the win, Van Buren upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Southern Reynolds (Ellington, MO) to clash with the Whippets in a Big Springs bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Southern Reynolds lost 68-54 in their recent non-league bout against Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Norwood Pirates (Norwood, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 26. Winona will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 100-89 non-league loss to Bakersfield (Bakersfield, MO).
