The Winters Blizzards basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Brookesmith Mustangs to 40 in the Blizzards non-league victory on Monday.

The Blizzards now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanderson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Winters will battle a Eagles team coming off a 39-31 league loss to Grandfalls-Royalty (Grandfalls, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.

The Mustangs (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Blackwell (Blackwell, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record.
