Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Ranch overwhelms Fort Bend Elkins

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), saw Cypress Ranch's basketball squad wallop Fort Bend Elkins by a tally of 68-42.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Marshall (San Antonio, TX) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Marshall lost 42-34 in their recent league challenge against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Knights play the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Fort Bend Elkins will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 65-64 non-league win over Iowa Colony (Arcola, TX).
