With the victory, Hayfield upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Triton (Dodge Center, MN) to play the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Triton lost 82-40 in their recent non-league challenge against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN)

Next up, the Rebels play the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Southland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 67-31 non-league loss to Heritage Christian Academy (Maple Grove, MN).
