In Monday's non-league outing, the Worcester Wolverines (Worcester, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jefferson Central Jayhawks (Jefferson, NY), by a count of 54-32.
The Wolverines (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Schenevus Central (Schenevus, NY). The Dragons go into the Section 4 Tri-Valley outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Schenevus Central smashed Franklin Central (Franklin, NY), 56-23, in a league outing.
The Jayhawks now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roxbury Central for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 5.
