Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI), 60-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Johannesburg-Lewiston upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Hillman (Hillman, MI) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Thunderbolts clash with the Atlanta Huskies (Atlanta, MI) in a North Star bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Mio-Au Sable will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 56-18 non-league loss to Rogers City (Rogers City, MI).
