Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI), 45-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Mills upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The L-Cats travel to Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Sauk Prairie won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI)

Next up, the Lightning play the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors (Lake Mills, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Lake Country Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 70-37 non-league loss to Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI).
