Long Island Lutheran Crusaders (Brookville, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Highland Prep Highlanders (Orlando, FL), 79-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Long Island Lutheran upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Archbishop Mitty lost 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Lake Highland Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 83-29 non-league win over Sarasota (Sarasota, FL).
