Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), 48-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Schuylkill Haven upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Hurricanes host Hamburg (Hamburg, PA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Hamburg lost 55-23 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA)

Next up, the play the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 bout, on Wednesday, December 21. MMI Preparatory School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 51-31 non-league win over Mountain View (Kingsley, PA).
