The Pitkin Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Rapides Mustangs to 21 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Welsh for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Pitkin will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-6.
The Mustangs (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Buckeye (Buckeye, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Buckeye was routed by Glenmora (Glenmora, LA), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
