Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN), 48-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Somerset upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Briar Jumpers host Washington County (Springfield, KY) to clash with the Commanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Commanders go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Scott will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 41-27 non-league win over Covington (Covington, TN).
