With the victory, Walden Grove improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Red Wolves host Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ) to play the Hawks in a 4A Gila challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Hawks play the San Pasqual Academy Dragons (Escondido, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Tanque Verde will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA).
