Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), 48-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Newburgh Free Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Goldbacks travel to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
