The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Woodstock Blue Streaks to 44 in the Cogs non-league victory on Monday.

The Cogs now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Genoa-Kingston will battle a Bucs team coming off a 60-38 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 0-1.

The Blue Streaks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Skyhawks come into the contest with a 6-3 record.
