With the victory, Scott's Branch improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC) to confront the Wolverines in a challenge on Friday, January 13. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Gators confront the Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
