With the victory, Wheatland improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mules host Weaubleau (Weaubleau, MO) to confront the Tigers in a Polk County challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO) in a Western Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Appleton City will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
