Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI), 74-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Beal City upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Aggies host Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Central Montcalm won 51-48 in their recent league bout against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Ithaca will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 54-45 league win over Merrill (Merrill, MI).
