The Beecher Bobcats basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Coal City Coalers to 39 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph-Ogden for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Beecher will battle a Spartans team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-0.

The Coalers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Hall was routed by Princeton (Princeton, IL), 63-47, in a league contest.
