Burke Bulldogs (Dorchester, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cathedral Panthers (Boston, MA), 81-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Burke upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Millbury (Millbury, MA) to play the Woolies in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Woolies come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Millbury won 54-44 in their recent league bout against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA)

Next up, the Panthers play the New Mission Titans (Boston, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
