The Byron Bears (Byron, MN) basketball felled the visiting New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), 79-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Austin (Austin, MN). The Packers go into the AAA Section 1 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Austin was topped by Faribault (Faribault, MN), 74-63, in a league bout.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. New Prague will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 75-65 non-league win over Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN).
