The North East Grape Pickers basketball team (North East, PA), was nudged 60-59 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA)
The Devils now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maplewood for a District 10 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 9.
The Grape Pickers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Girard edged Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA), 72-34, in a non-league battle.
