The R.J. Reynolds Demons topped the visiting Carver Yellowjackets basketball team by a final score of 53-36 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Demons face the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 20. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 76-43 non-league win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).
