Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars (Cicero, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY), 73-70 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cicero-North Syracuse upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Northstars travel to Public Service Leadership Academy (Syracuse, NY) to play the Falcons in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire bout on Thursday, December 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) in a Section 3 Salt City - Metro bout, on Friday, January 5. West Genesee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
