Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Magee Trojans (Magee, MS), 63-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Jefferson Davis County won 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)

Next up, the Trojans play the North Forrest Eagles (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Magee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
