Madison Bulldogs (Madison, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Crest Lancers (Colony, KS), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Olpe (Olpe, KS) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-1.

Next up, the Lancers play the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Jayhawks come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 60-33 non-league win over Yates Center (Yates Center, KS).
