Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR), 54-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cutter-Morning Star upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Eagles host Fordyce (Fordyce, AR) to clash with the Redbugs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Redbugs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Fordyce lost 95-34 in their recent non-league bout against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Saline County Christian HomeSchool Warriors (Benton, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Malvern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 76-49 league loss to Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR).
