Connecticut High School Basketball - Derby can't hold off Kennedy

The Derby Red Raiders basketball team (Derby, CT), was nudged 51-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT)

The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilby for a Naugatuck Valley battle on Friday, December 22. Kennedy will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-52 league win over Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Red Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, East Haven edged Branford (Branford, CT), 66-36, in a non-league battle.
