The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs to 24 in the Dukes & Duchesses non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dukes & Duchesses now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Princeton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Dixon will meet a Tigers team coming off a 70-62 non-league loss to Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.

The Maple Leafs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons enter the Western Big 6 contest with a 10-1 record.
