The Waggener Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Doss Dragons to 58 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Waggener will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Brown (Louisville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.

The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, North Bullitt edged Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY), 57-45, in a league contest.
