Georgia High School Basketball - Dougherty trounces McIntosh County Academy

December 19, 2023: Albany, GA 31705

The Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA) basketball crushed the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 71-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Jenkins walloped Westover (Albany, GA), 48-45, in a non-league test.

The Buccaneers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 20. McIntosh County Academy will encounter a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 64-42 non-league win over Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 6-2.
