Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA), 56-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans host Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Quaboag Regional won 75-67 in their recent non-league bout against Oxford (Oxford, MA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Prouty Panthers (Spencer, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
