California High School Basketball - Esperanza knocked off by Elsinore

The Elsinore Tigers basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Esperanza Aztecs to 67 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Star of the Sea for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Elsinore will meet a Stars team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Stars record now stands at 8-2.

The Aztecs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Diablos enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Mission Viejo was outscored by Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
