The Plum Mustangs basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Freeport Yellowjackets to 52 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brentwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Yellowjackets (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Redbank Valley triumphed over Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA), 65-37, in a non-league contest.
