The Grand Saline Indians topped the host Yantis Owls basketball team by a final score of 57-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Alba-Golden Panthers (Alba, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 28. Grand Saline will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 58-43 league win over Cumby (Cumby, TX).
The Owls (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears come into the 1A Region III District 24 battle with a 13-5 record.
