The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats to 45 in the Maroon Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Maroon Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Liverpool for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Wheeling Central Catholic will battle a Potters team coming off a 78-42 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Potters record now stands at 7-0.

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
