Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), 56-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion County upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Sequatchie County won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN)

Next up, the Ramblers play the Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) in a AAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 5. LaFayette will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
