Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 69-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Shallowater won 80-44 in their recent league bout against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Portales will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.
